It is quite impossible to imagine anyone being angry at Keanu Reeves in current times. The actor did not have such a gentlemanly image when he was performing with his band called Dogstar. According to the actor, Reeves witnessed a beautiful moment when the audience started heckling them.
Being out of place, their band Dogstar was bullied by the audience of Milwaukee, Wisconsin back in the 1990s before Reeves became famous as an actor. People reportedly threw beer at the band while Keanu Reeves distinctly remembers someone yelling “f*ck off” to Dogstar and the actor!
When Keanu Reeves Was Told To “F*ck off”!
Before the actor became famous by starring in movies like Speed and The Matrix, Keanu Reeves was part of a band. Having the title of the bass player, the band was called Dogstar, with Rob Mailhouse as the drummer.

Back in the 1990s, Reeves and his band went to Metalfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to showcase their talent. Unfortunately for Dogstar, their band was very out of place since the famous bands had hyped the public up with hard rock and Satan rock. Dogstar, on the other hand, played folk music which made the audience angry.
“We were in Milwaukee playing the Metalfest. There were some incredible bands — it was a mixture of hard rock and Satan rock, perhaps. But we’re a folk band. We should not have been there.”
Reeves further continued,
“They threw beer at us and told us to f*ck off and [yelled], ‘You suck!’ It was beautiful. It made me laugh. I said to the guitarist, ‘Let’s do one of our Grateful Dead covers!’ It was a glorious moment. Them going: ‘F*ck you! You suck!’ Us going [sings in country twang], ‘Ah was born in the desert/doo-doo-doo…’”
Alongside the tale of how his band eventually disbanded, Keanu Reeves also talked about how Dogstar came to be. Having waded his way through struggling waters, the John Wick actor stated that it all started in a garage.

“You know, we started in a garage, and then you end up starting to write songs, and then you’re like ‘Let’s go out and play them!’, and then you’re like ‘Let’s go on tour!’ And then…you’re playing,”
The band later disbanded and Reeves went on to have a prosperous career in the holds of Hollywood. The actor was last seen in the role of John Wick in John Wick: Chapter 4.
