Adorable dog has a hobby of “inhaling” the scent of flowers.

A 2 year old small dog named Finn, surprised and delighted a lot of people because of his very lovely hobby “Love to smell the fragrance of the flowers”. This is a very special dog!

The hybrid puppy has a preference for smelling flowers from a young age.

Finn weighs four kilograms, the puppy being a hybrid of Brussels and Pekingese; since he was nine weeks old Finn has been raised and cared for by his 25-year-old master Sarah Geers. And when he was three months old, the dog was starting to enjoy the flowers.

Sarah, who had a job as a nurse at a hospital, told The Epoch Times that she saw Finn sniffing at her father’s colorful garden of daisies and was very interested. She took a few pictures, and to this day she knows it’s just a beginning.

Finn would smell all the flowers that he met while walking, sticking his head over Sarah’s railing to “breathe” her hanging butterfly flower pots; the little puppy was always excited about a fresh bouquet, he often waved his tail and shook his body to express his happiness.

Sarah added that the dog was also interested in freshly cut flowers, even fake flowers were on Finn’s favorite list; he did not judge any flowers.

According to Sarah, the dog especially loves the colorful cuckoo and the brilliant butterfly flowers. Throughout the spring, Finn loves running around the dandelion fields and enjoying the fragrance from the flowers along the way.

“The only downside to my dog’s cute obsession is that I can’t put a fresh vase on my coffee table, because Finn never jumps up and takes a breath; I’m afraid the dog will rush it!”, Sarah explains.

However, Finn’s dog is also very smart, he also always knows how to guard against flowers that may harm him. The puppy will ignore and not smell orchids or daffodils, these are flowers considered not pet friendly.

The lovely puppy plays an important role in the master’s family.

Finn was bought by her employer from a Brussels griffon breeder when she was nine weeks old. Finn’s mother, a Beijing dog, bore her until the day of birth without anyone finding out, until they found Finn’s newborn dog in her mouth. When Sarah saw Finn, she immediately had feelings for the dog; Finn reminded her of her other dog, Harley, a half-breed dog between Shih Tzu and Shar Pei.

Sarah said that both of her dogs love to play, they play wrestling all day long.

“Harley used to caress Finn by licking the top of the dog’s head — this would last more than 20 minutes and it would make Finn immediately sleepy,” Sarah says. It’s the loveliest sight you’ll ever see!”.

Sharing more about Finn’s personality, Sarah said, Finn is the happiest puppy she has ever met. He likes to go by car, lies on the couch like a cat, floats in the pool on the floats and chews Whimzees; Finn doesn’t like spinach and stormy days.

At Sarah and Matthew’s wedding, Finn and Harley played very important roles.

In December 2021, Sarah and Matthew completed their goal of buying their first home with a large backyard for their beloved dogs in Palatine Bridge, New York. Finn and Harley now have a spacious place to walk with the horses; to see and enjoy the taste of many new flowers in the garden.

Sarah said: “Dogs have a precious soul. Dogs are only with us for a short period of our lives; but we are in their world for the rest of our lives. ”
