Amanda Grace Hutter was jogging around Cambridge, Massachusetts, when she suddenly noticed a pup which was apparently performing something like a magic trick. Amanda was crossing the road when all of a sudden, she heard a whine. She narrated that the pup stuck its head out of the fence, when a guy running past winced in surprise.

The hovering head belonged to a fuzzy Westie that wanted to monitor what was going on in the streets. Amanda took a few pictures of the nosy pup and went on with running because it didn’t seem like the pup wanted to be pet. The look of the dog just made Amanda cheerful, because the pup was just looking around and didn’t even react to her.

It wasn’t the first time that Amanda passed by that house, but she never saw the pup or the leak in the fence before. Though when she shared the photos of the floating pup head with her Facebook friends, she found out that the dog was famous around the hood.

The dog has been watching his block through the hole since about 2012 and has brought pleasure to everyone lucky enough to notice him. Nevertheless, he never seems to be interested to be petted or treats, since he takes his job as the watchdog very seriously. Amanda hopes that she will see him again when she passes by the next time so that he will brighten up her day once more.
