Honey badgers are known to be extremely stubborn animals and never get tired of any predators.
Behind the calm in the dense forests there is always a fierce struggle for survival.
A fight for survival does not simply last for a few minutes or hours, but it is a persistent struggle of all species from the moment they are born until their last breath.
Only animals strong, resilient, and ruthless enough can stand firm in this endless war.
Normally, battles between wild animals often result in large, ferocious animals with a lot of hunting experience, such as tigers, leopards, lions, hunting dogs, etc.
However, there are still animals that go “against the flow” of the laws of nature, willing to do unthinkable things such as destroying beehives, humiliating lions, eating poisonous snakes and still remaining unharmed. With its achievements, honey badgers are jokingly called by many people the most careless animal in the wild world.
Honey badgers are carnivores related to weasels. But unlike their brothers with distinctive scents, they are famous for their careless, reckless and somewhat aggressive nature. Because of their high adaptability to many different types of habitat, honey badgers are widely distributed throughout the world.
Adult badgers have a shoulder height of 28 cm, body length of 50-77 cm, tail length of 30 cm. Males weigh from 9-16 kg, while females are smaller, weighing from 5-10 kg.
Honey badgers have very thick and strong skin. Its very effective self-defense weapons are its long claws and extremely sharp teeth.
Furthermore, with its ferocious and reckless nature, honey badgers dare to confront the most fearsome predators. A typical example is confronting a herd of leopards as in the clip below.
Tour guide Dan Fiser and his guest, Paola Murguia, were the lucky ones to witness the “unprecedented” fight between honey badgers and three leopards.
That day, the two of them were driving along the Sand River when they encountered a family of leopards leisurely walking. So excited about the “big cat” family that the whole group decided to follow behind.
While passing by a bush of reeds, two leopard cubs suddenly showed a strange attitude and ran inside. A strange cry rang out, startling the mother leopard.
The audience’s reaction when they saw the journalist’s family struggling with a honey badger in the reeds was extremely surprising. This animal is famous for its bravery and stubbornness, so everyone is looking forward to a satisfying action show. Facing an opponent with a smaller number, the three leopards took turns attacking.
However, the honey badger proved extremely rude. After enduring the attack, it rushed to respond wildly, making the attackers feel scared. The scene ended with the honey badger trotting away as if there had never been an attack.
