Steve Greig is a certified public accountant who resides in Colorado with ten dogs, the most of whom are in their senior years. In addition to that, he has a variety of farm animals on his property, such as a lovable little pig called Bikini, two ducks, two pigeons, two chickens, and one rabbit. He also has two cats.

There is no question in anyone’s mind that this guy has a deep and abiding affection for these animals. Because of their old age, senior dogs have a more difficult time finding a permanent home, and because of this, he has devoted himself to this cause more than any other.

“During my childhood, I was exposed to a variety of creatures. My parents, who are both animal lovers, would almost always let me have everything I wanted as long as I was responsible enough to take care of it.

When Steve moved into his own house, he usually had three or four dogs around. His passion to assist animals significantly grew with the loss of one of his dogs, and he now volunteers at an animal shelter.

“I had a lot of worries about what happened after that. Even after a month or so had gone, the event continued to make me feel terrible about myself. After giving it some thought, I came to the realisation that the only thing that could make me feel better is if something good happened that most likely wouldn’t have happened if he hadn’t gone away.

After the passing of his best friend and closest companion, this guy was resolute to ensure that another dog had a happy and fulfilling life. He went to an animal shelter in the area and chose the young dog that had the least likelihood of being adopted.

The author said, “So I brought home a 12-year-old Chihuahua called Eeyore, who had a heart murmur, and several of his legs were in horrible shape, and that was just the beginning of all the animals.”

Only eight of the 10 dogs that Greig is now responsible for are his his; the other two belong to Greig’s sister and a roommate respectively.

You should know that there are ten dogs, and the majority of them follow various diets. As a result, on a normal day, I get up at five in the morning to prepare breakfast for all of the dogs.
